Schnauzerfest Rome is held just outside of Atlanta in the heart of Beautiful Historical Downtown Rome, GA. A majority of events taking place in Rome's River City Forum Arena. The festival will have various events such as attempting the Guinness World Record for the largest dog walk of a single breed, Schnauzer Agility Contest, Schnauzers Best in Show Contest, and Schnauzer Idol Singing Competition. There will also be Vendors, Schnauzer Rescues and demonstrations on Schnauzer grooming along with many new surprises created just for our 2021 event... and of course, the hotels and businesses will be throwing parties and socials especially for our Festival!
2019 was our first year of Schnauzerfest Rome, and all the events were a big success! With mini, standard, and giant schnauzers participating, along with their "Pawrents" from 42 states, Canada and the UK, many have said it was the experience of a lifetime! This year's festival because of Covid 19 was postponed however is now rescheduled to October 22-23. The theme is still called "Schnauzer-Ween" which will feature the world's largest Schnauzer Costume Parade down Broad Street, "Trick or Dog-Treat" through the downtown businesses and a Costume Contest in the Forum!
